Elena Luppi is a Full Professor in Educational Research at the Department of Education of the University of Bologna. She carries out Evidence-Based Research and Action Research on Design, Assessment, and Evaluation in Education. She is an expert in Life-long Learning – especially Ageing, Older Adult Education, Care, Intergenerationality – and in Gender issues, tackling these topics with an interdisciplinary perspective. She has carried out research projects in these areas at the international, European, and national levels.

Arūnas Bėkšta is a project and training expert at the Lithuanian Adult Education Association (LAEA), board member and former president of LAEA. Compiler and author of books on adult learning, and one of the creators of the European Quality Mark (EQM) for assessing the quality of adult education. Management consultant and lecturer. Expert in EU-funded projects on public administration reform and teacher training, with professional experience in numerous European, Asian, and African countries. Head of qualification-development courses for employees of educational and cultural institutions, lecturer at an online coaching school, and former Minister of Culture.
